Privacy_Policy

HIBACHI ONE LLC, doing business as Hibachi One (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates https://www.hibachioneusa.com/ and the restaurant at 3230 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. This Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our website, inquiries, reservations, orders, and related customer communications that we receive or manage.

When you follow a link to DoorDash, Google, or another external service, that provider’s privacy notice describes its own collection and use of information. This Policy covers the information we receive from those services and handle for our restaurant. It does not replace their notices or give us control over their separate records. This Policy also does not cover employment records or restaurant security cameras.

1 Information we handle

The information involved depends on how you interact with us and which features you use.

Contact and inquiry details. When you contact us, submit a form, or request a reservation, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, requested visit time, party size, and the content of your request or messages. If you contact us through a social platform, we receive the information you choose to make available through that interaction.

Order and transaction details. When you order directly from us or a platform sends us an order, we may receive the customer name, contact details, items, quantities, order time, fulfillment instructions, delivery address when needed, transaction amount, and order or refund status. If you place an order for another person, provide only the details needed and make sure you are authorized to share them.

Payment details. Depending on the ordering channel, payment information is handled by the payment processor or ordering platform. We may receive a transaction reference, payment status, and limited payment details needed for receipts, reconciliation, or refunds. Please do not send full card numbers, security codes, bank passwords, or identification documents in ordinary email or website messages.

Dietary information. If you voluntarily tell us about an allergy or dietary need, we may use that information to assess and respond to your request and prepare your order. Share only what is necessary. Dietary notes can reveal sensitive information, so avoid including unrelated medical details.

Website and device information. Our website and its hosting or embedded providers may process IP addresses, browser and device details, pages viewed, referring pages, and timestamps. Depending on enabled tools and your choices, cookies may record preferences, interactions, and campaign referrals. IP addresses can indicate approximate location. Delivery addresses support fulfillment; displaying our menu does not require continuous device location.

2 Where information comes from

Information comes from you, people authorized to act for you, and providers supporting our website, orders, bookings, payments, or communications. Technical records may be generated automatically. Platforms share information according to their service and settings; we do not necessarily receive all their records.

3 Why we use information

We use the details needed to answer inquiries, arrange visits, prepare and fulfill orders, communicate changes, handle payment records and refunds, and address complaints. Order and service records also help us maintain accounts, resolve disputes, detect fraud, protect the website, and meet legal obligations.

We may review website performance and restaurant service trends to improve menus, accessibility, and customer experience. If we offer newsletters or promotions, we use contact details for those communications in accordance with your choices and applicable law. We obtain separate consent where required, including for automated marketing texts. We do not treat accepting our Terms or placing an order as blanket permission for optional marketing or unrelated uses of sensitive dietary information.

4 Who receives information

Restaurant staff and service providers. Authorized staff may access information needed for their work. Website hosting, ordering, payment, booking, customer support, and communication providers may process relevant information to deliver their services. For example, order details go to staff preparing the food, and delivery instructions go to the party fulfilling a delivery. The recipient and information involved depend on the channel you choose.

External platforms. DoorDash and other platforms may process information both to provide services to us and for their own purposes under their agreements and privacy notices. Google and other external services may collect information directly when you use their pages or features. Sharing information with a platform is not the same as keeping it only within our restaurant.

Legal and business needs. We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers, insurers, authorities, or other recipients when needed to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate fraud or safety concerns, or establish or defend legal rights. If the restaurant is involved in a merger, sale, or similar transaction, relevant records may be reviewed or transferred subject to appropriate confidentiality measures and applicable law. We may also share information at your direction or with your consent.

5 Cookies analytics and advertising

Cookies and similar technologies can help a website maintain sessions, remember preferences, support embedded features, and protect against misuse. Optional analytics tools can measure visits and interactions. If advertising tools are enabled, they may process device identifiers, IP addresses, page activity, and referral or conversion events to measure campaigns or support personalized advertising, including across different websites.

You can manage cookies through your browser and use privacy or cookie settings made available by the relevant website or provider. Blocking some technologies can affect ordering, embedded content, or preferences. Choices on one browser, device, or domain may not apply to another, including after you move to DoorDash or Google. We obtain consent for optional technologies where the law requires it.

Disclosures of identifiers or browsing activity to advertising providers can qualify as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws even without a cash payment. Any legally required opt-out applies to activities that meet those definitions. Contact us to exercise an applicable opt-out right or ask about the technologies used on our website. Where required by law, we recognize supported opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control for the relevant browser. Ordinary Do Not Track settings are different from those legally recognized signals.

6 Your communication choices

Marketing email. If you receive promotional email from us, use its unsubscribe instructions or email hibachione@gmail.com to ask us to stop. We honor requests within the time required by applicable law. An email preference does not prevent us from sending necessary order, reservation, safety, or other nonmarketing messages where permitted.

Text messages. If a text program is offered, review its signup disclosures for the sender, purpose, frequency, consent terms, and support information. Marketing consent is not a condition of buying food. You may revoke consent by replying STOP where supported, using another method stated in the message, or contacting us through a reasonable method. Carrier message and data rates may apply. Revoking text consent may stop order-related texts as well; contact the restaurant if you need another way to obtain order updates. We will not use a transaction message to bypass your marketing opt-out.

7 Retention security and processing locations

We retain information for the period reasonably needed for the purpose described here, including fulfillment, support, tax and accounting requirements, fraud prevention, and legal claims. The period varies by the kind of record and applicable requirements. We may retain limited suppression or consent records to respect communication choices. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it no longer identifiable, subject to lawful retention and backup cycles.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures suited to the information and our operations. No website, email system, or storage method can guarantee absolute security. Please use the restaurant telephone number for an urgent issue and do not send unnecessary sensitive information through a general inquiry form.

We operate in the United States. Hosting and service providers may process information in the United States or other locations in which they operate, subject to applicable legal requirements. Their separate notices may explain additional details about their processing locations and safeguards.

8 Requests and privacy rights

You may contact us to ask about information we hold, request a correction, ask for deletion, or change communication preferences. Depending on your residence, the activity involved, and whether a privacy law applies to our business, you may also have rights to access a copy of information, obtain it in a portable format, opt out of sale or sharing or targeted advertising, limit certain sensitive information uses, withdraw consent, or appeal a denied request. We do not claim that every listed statutory right applies in every case.

Send a request to hibachione@gmail.com or call +1 (505) 839-0808. Describe your request and the contact details associated with your interaction. We may reasonably verify identity or an agent’s authority before disclosing or changing records, but will request only information needed for that purpose. Please do not send identity documents unless we arrange a secure and necessary verification method.

We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any permitted refusal or limitation, including when records must be kept or are controlled by another provider. If an applicable law gives you a right to appeal, send an appeal to the same email address with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will explain the outcome and any further complaint rights required by law. We do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. For records controlled independently by DoorDash or another provider, submit a request to that provider as well.

9 Children

The website and its transaction features are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. A parent or guardian should handle a child’s order or reservation and provide only information needed for the visit or meal.

10 Updates and contact details

We may update this Policy when our services or information practices change. The effective date above identifies the current published version. We provide additional notice and obtain consent when required for a material change. Posting a revised notice alone does not authorize a new use that legally requires separate consent.
